Bread with Herbs
8 people15 mins cooking time + 30 mins preparation time
2 cups wheat flour
6 tbsp of Carbonell Cereal & Fruit Oil
½ cup milk
1 tbsp baking powder
salt to taste
1 tsp oregano
1 tbsp chopped thyme
2 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling
In a bowl, mix the flour, Carbonell Cereal & Fruit Oil, whole eggs and milk, stirring well after each addition. Finally, add the yeast and salt.
Add the herbs and mix well.
Place the dough in a greased loaf tin (9cm x 20cm x 4.5 cm). Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the surface.
Bake in moderate oven, preheated to 180°Cfor about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Remove loaf from tin.
Serve warm or cold.
